Notes for 2008 Shows:
REGIONAL QUALIFYING - For 2008 ONLY, no previous qualifications are needed to attend a 2008 Regional Championship Show. You may show at any Regional Show you select. This offers one more additional opportunity to qualify for the 2008 Grand National Show.
NATIONAL QUALIFYING - Places 1st through 6th (in all classes, all
divisions) at any Regional are automatically qualified for the 2008 Grand
National Show.
All ALSA Champions and ROMs, as well as Grand And reserve Champions from any
ALSA show since the 2007 ALSA Grand National Show, are automatically qualified
for the 2008 ALSA Grand National Show. Ultimate Youth awardees are
automatically qualified for all Youth Classes. Superior Youth awardees are
automatically qualified for that particular class.
MEMBERSHIP INPUT TO ALSA - Starting this year each Regional Show will have a membership meeting and elect a spokesperson to represent and bring Regional issues to the National Membership Meeting. Your input is important to these Regional meetings.
After review by the Finance Committee, the National Committee
recommended that yearling age groups will not be divided into two classes at Nationals, 2008.
