URGENT - Be sure to pay your dues BEFORE February 1st
to be able to to vote on this special bylaw change

The ALSA Board of Directors has approved a bylaw change ballot.
The change will abolish the use of the Petition to Nominate Form and
allow a member in good standing to declare themselves as a candidate.

The Day of Record for dues to be paid to vote is February 1, 2018.
The Board of Directors will approve the list of members in good standing
and submit an official list of members in good standing
to the Election Committee no later than February 15, 2018.

The Election Committee will use the approved list for balloting.
Check with the ALSA office to verify that your email is correct.
The balloting will be electronic voting and take place in March.

In the meantime, the current bylaws must be followed therefore the
Petition to Nominate Form is posted on the ALSA website.
