How
To Sanction An ALSA Show
1.
After details for the show have been decided and
after reading through Part D of the ALSA Handbook,
download the Show Sanctioning Application here.
Complete the application form and send the ALSA
office.
2.
An application fee of $25 for shows of 30 or fewer
animals, or $50 for shows of more than 30 animals,
must accompany the application form.
3.
A $25 fleece show application fee for shows under 30
fleeces or $50 for shows over 30 fleeces must
accompany the application also.
4.
Include all approved classes and divisions offered,
descriptions and requirements for classes, and entry
eligibility requirements on the Show Sanctioning
Form.
5.
Include any URL of a website that has information
about your show. The URL will be placed on the
Show Calendar - there is no fee.
6.
If you do not have a website available for your show
information, you may put all information and forms
on the ALSA website for only $20.00. There
will be a link to your information on the Show
Calendar. Email
your show information to be posted.
7.
No publication of the show is to be done before the
show is sanctioned.
8.
The ALSA Office will check your form for
approval. A Show Packet consisting of the
following items can be downloaded from the ALSA
website: Judge's score cards, Performance
class layouts, a Show Management Guide, a
Tabulations sheet, a Recap Sheet, Instruction
Sheets, and the Results Forms.
9.
At this point your show is Sanctioned and it will be
included on the ALSA Website Show Calendar and
listed in Showring magazine.
10.
First time ALSA Shows may petition ALSA to have the
$50 application fee waived if you are a new
show. Contact the ALSA Office to arrange this.
11.
Within 15 days after completion of your Show, you
will need to send the following to the ALSA
Office: The Show results including all ILR
numbers and DOB, signed Judge's cards, llama ALSA
numbers, and a list of names and addresses of all
the exhibitors with membership number.
12.
Within 30 days after completion of your Show, you
will need to send the show fees, including all
non-member fees, to the ALSA Office.
